The Brand |

This fast growing premium cycling apparel brand seamlessly merge fashion and sport through their design process and aesthetics. Sustainability is at the very core of what they do. 

Seeking a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses an innate understanding of the cycling apparel market. This is a pivotal role reporting to the VP Product. You will take complete ownership of seasonal assortments, from initial concept briefing to successful market launch. You'll act as their internal industry expert, continuously providing invaluable insights on market trends and competitor assortments to inform strategy and maintain their competitive edge.

This is a parental leave 13 month fixed term contract ideally commencing on 1st September.  

The Role |

  • Strategic Product Roadmap & Assortment Planning: Maintain and evolve Product Roadmap in collaboration with their Future Concepts Designer and CEO. Translate strategic roadmaps into detailed seasonal assortment plans, aligning closely with our proposed buy and influencing it from a product and brand perspective.

  • Design Team Collaboration & Development: Create precise individual product design briefs for new developments each season, including target FOBs. Partner closely with their talented design team to craft compelling product stories for internal presentations and external launch.

  • Global RRP Ownership: Conduct thorough market and competitor benchmarking to set global Recommended Retail Prices (RRPs) that are both competitive and aligned with margin expectations.

  • Linelist & Data Management: Own the creation and management of seasonal linelists within their PLM software, finalizing all product data for seamless handover to production. Work closely with colourists to ensure visual consistency across all range boards.

  • End-to-End Brand Partnership Execution: Collaborate with the VP Product and CEO on identifying potential collaboration partners. Manage the entire project lifecycle for brand partnerships, from initial contact and commercial terms finalization (pricing, incoterms, distribution) to product design briefing (internal or with partner), production coordination, and product data setup.

  • Cross-Functional Product Interface: Act as the primary product contact for their Global Sales and Marketing teams. Provide essential sales tools, product training, collate feedback post-seasonal sell-in, and lead seasonal product handovers to marketing, ensuring all necessary visual, copy, and product information is provided for successful campaigns and catalogue creation.

The Skillset |

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally from the apparel/sportwear industry.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for product excellence.

  • Understanding of product development processes, from concept to production.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with design, development, sales, marketing, and operations teams.

  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

  • A genuine interest in and passion for cycling highly regarded.
