Our client is a founder led beauty business, offering a curated range of Korean and Japanese beauty products. They focus on quality, and accessibility and aim to make cult favourite Asian skincare brands more available in Australia. It’s all about good value and reliable service! Now, after years of building a successful online business they have their sights set on growth and are set to open more stores in the coming months! We’re currently searching for a people focused, go getter Store Manager to lead their recently opened store in Chadstone, Victoria.

The Role |

As the Store Manager you’ll report directly to the founder and work closely with key stakeholder to help bring the retail brand vision to life. You'll be overseeing the day-to-day retail operations, inventory management, inducting, leading and developing the retail team, and ensuring exceptional customer service. In addition:

  • Represent the brand to the highest standard, you have a customer first mindset and strive to deliver on memorable moments with your clients.

  • Coach and develop a passionate team of retailers to be proactive and engaging with customers, always striving to deliver a memorable customer experience.

  • Ensure the presentation and visual standards are met in accordance with brand expectations.

  • Sound business acumen and understanding of retail KPIs. However, you understand that it’s through meaningful customer experience that results are met.

  • Take ownership of resolving client issues or complaints with empathy.

The Skills | 

To be successful in this role we are looking for profiles with prior Retail leadership experience (bonus if you have a background in beauty), In addition, you:

  • You lead from the front in all that you do, are hands on and are passionate about the continued growth and upskilling of your team.

  • Have strong leadership skills with a passion for inspiring and unlocking potential in your team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven customer service abilities with a track record of strong sales results.

  • A passion for the retail and beauty industries, and can demonstrate an ability to learn different product knowledge.

  • Drive operational efficiencies and strive for continued improvement in store operations and sales.

  • You have a customer first mindset and are focused on exceeding you customer expectations.

  • Able to work full time.
