Our Client is a forward-thinking fashion retailer that offers a curated selection of high-quality, pre-loved and new fashion pieces - combining style with conscious consumerism. A rare leadership opportunity has arisen to join the Fortitude Valley store in the James St as Store Manager.

The Role |

Reporting to senior leadership, you'll lead a dedicated team of 10+ employees, driving store operations from end-to-end. Partnering with Assistant Managers, you'll have the autonomy to shape the store experience, working creatively and strategically to enhance both customer and team outcomes. In addition:

  • Driving sales and profitability: With a strong commercial mindset and deep knowledge of retail metrics, you'll know how to leverage opportunities to achieve or exceed performance targets.

  • Team development: Identify growth opportunities for your team, mentor effectively, and elevate the team's skills to unlock their full potential.

  • Exceptional customer experience: Lead by example to prioritise every customer interaction, ensuring the customer perspective informs all decisions.

  • Marketing and growth initiatives: Collaborate with the marketing team to create store-focused campaigns, social content, and promotions that strengthen an omnichannel customer experience.

  • Building customer relationships: Use digital tools and insights to deepen engagement with loyal customers and key community members.

  • Values-led leadership: Guide your team and decisions through a lens of integrity, inclusivity, and collaboration, ensuring culture and performance go hand in hand.

The Skills |

The ideal candidate is a seasoned retailer, with previous experience in a Store Manager or Multi Site role., with experience managing team sizes of 8-10 +. You'll combine sharp business acumen with a genuine passion for sustainability and making a meaningful impact with your people.

Success in this role comes from a love of fashion, understanding key trends and pieces that resonate with the community, and an approachable, clear communication style to engage both team and customers.
