Store Manager

Australian Luxury Fashion House
Now Hiring in Sydney

The Brand |

An Australian luxury fashion house with a truly global presence, this is a brand that has built an enviable position within the international designer market while retaining a strong and distinctive Australian identity.

Known for its feminine aesthetic, exceptional fabrication and highly considered approach to design, the brand has developed a loyal global following and a reputation that extends well beyond its Australian origins.

Retail plays an integral role in bringing the brand to life. Its boutiques are highly considered environments where exceptional service is expected, client relationships are actively developed, and teams are encouraged to build genuine knowledge of their clients rather than simply facilitate a transaction. We are now seeking standout talent to lead their Miranda boutique.

The Role |

For an experienced luxury retail leader, this represents the opportunity to join one of Australia’s most successful fashion businesses at a genuinely international level, while working within a brand that continues to place enormous value on product, people and the client experience.

This focus is reflected throughout the leadership remit, with significant emphasis on clientelling, CRM, team development and consistently elevated store standards.

As Store Manager, you will have ownership across sales, people, client development and day-to-day store operations, leading from the front to create a commercially successful boutique and an engaging environment for both clients and your team.

  • Lead the store to achieve sales, productivity and commercial targets

  • Coach, motivate and develop the Assistant Manager and wider store team

  • Deliver an elevated and highly personalised luxury shopping experience

  • Build a strong culture of clientelling, developing both new and existing client relationships

  • Drive CRM activity, appointments, outreach and client retention

  • Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities to increase store performance

  • Maintain strong product knowledge across the team

  • Partner with wider business functions around stock, allocations, replenishment and commercial opportunities

  • Recruit, onboard and develop high-performing retail talent

  • Manage performance and identify future succession opportunities within the team

  • Execute visual merchandising directives and maintain exceptional store presentation

  • Maintain accurate stock management and strong loss prevention practices

  • Lead client events and local initiatives

  • Manage rostering, payroll, expenses and store administration

  • Ensure company policies, procedures, health and safety and operational standards are consistently upheld

  • Support omnichannel and online order fulfilment to an exceptional standard

The Skillset |

You will be an experienced retail leader with a strong background in luxury, designer or premium fashion and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.

You will bring:

  • Previous Store Management experience within a premium or luxury retail environment

  • A strong track record of achieving sales and store KPIs

  • A track record of being hands on and visible on the shop floor – leading from the front

  • Exceptional clientelling and relationship-building capability

  • Confidence using CRM and client data to drive engagement and commercial outcomes

  • Strong people leadership, coaching and performance management skills

  • Experience recruiting and developing retail talent

  • Sound operational capability across stock, loss prevention, payroll and store administration

  • High standards of visual presentation and attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across a wider retail business

  • An energetic, adaptable and solutions-focused approach

You will be equally comfortable driving the commercial performance of the store, developing a high-performing team and being present on the floor building meaningful relationships with clients.

The Offer |

There is an exceptional salary offering level with experience, plus an attractive performance-based bonus structure, providing the opportunity to be rewarded for both individual and store performance, together with a generous seasonal wardrobe allocation across ready-to-wear, footwear, jewellery and accessories.

You will step into an established boutique with a permanent team of approximately eight, supported by additional seasonal talent during peak periods. This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of the store, build capability within the team and develop a strong clientelling culture while being supported by an established regional and wider retail structure.
