An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Stockroom Manager to take ownership of the stock operations within their Carindale store in Brisbane, a key role within a busy, fast-paced retail environment.
The Role |
As Stockroom Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the operational performance of the store, ensuring the stockroom is organised, efficient and always supporting what’s happening on the shop floor.
Working closely with the Store Manager and wider leadership team, you’ll take ownership of stock flow, replenishment, deliveries and loss prevention while ensuring the team can access the right product at the right time to maximise sales.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves the operational side of retail and understands just how important a well-run stockroom is to the commercial success of a busy store.
In addition, you will:
Take complete ownership of the organisation and day-to-day management of the stockroom.
Ensure stock is easily accessible to support the sales team and maximise shop-floor opportunities.
Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries and all associated administration.
Coordinate daily replenishment to ensure strong product availability across the store.
Support styling, detailing and visual merchandising standards when replenishing the floor.
Maintain accurate stock processes and identify opportunities to minimise loss, error and waste.
Implement strong stock control and loss-prevention processes.
Support the Store Manager with rostering and workforce planning to achieve wage budgets.
Maintain high operational standards across the store and stock reserves.
Step onto the shop floor and support customers and the wider team when required.
The Skillset |
We’re looking for someone who is incredibly organised, operationally strong and genuinely enjoys creating structure within a busy retail environment.
You will ideally bring:
Previous stockroom, inventory, operations or retail management experience.
Experience within a high-volume fashion or specialty retail environment would be highly regarded.
Exceptional organisation and attention to detail.
Strong stock management and inventory control capability.
Confidence managing deliveries, replenishment and stock administration.
An understanding of loss prevention and stock integrity.
Strong time management and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence working alongside a broader store leadership team.
A hands-on approach and willingness to support the shop floor when required.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
