An exciting opportunity now exists for an accomplished multi-site retail leader to join the business as State Manager | NSW & QLD on a 12-month fixed-term contract, leading a significant portfolio across two key markets.
The Role |
As State Manager | NSW & QLD, you will take ownership of the commercial performance, people strategy and customer experience across a diverse network of boutiques, concessions and outlet locations.
This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role. You'll spend meaningful time in stores, working alongside your Store Managers to understand each individual business, identify opportunities and build high-performing teams.
Balancing strategic thinking with strong operational execution, you'll partner closely with senior retail leadership and Head Office to drive performance across your portfolio while ensuring every location consistently represents the standards of a globally recognised luxury brand.
In addition, you will:
Lead, coach and develop Store Managers across NSW and QLD, creating a high-performance and people-first culture.
Drive sales, profitability and KPI performance across your portfolio.
Analyse individual store and regional performance, identifying commercial opportunities and implementing meaningful action plans.
Build leadership capability through regular coaching, development conversations and succession planning.
Develop a strong internal talent pipeline and identify future leaders across the business.
Champion exceptional clienteling and customer experience across boutiques, concessions and outlet environments.
Partner with Store Managers to develop strategies that grow client acquisition, retention and loyalty.
Ensure consistency across visual merchandising, operational standards and brand execution.
Oversee workforce planning, productivity and payroll management across the region.
Support recruitment and onboarding of key retail leadership positions.
Lead new initiatives, projects and business priorities across NSW and QLD.
Partner closely with Head Office and cross-functional teams to maximise opportunities across product, marketing, people and retail operations.
Maintain a strong understanding of competitor activity, market trends and opportunities within each region.
The Skillset |
We're looking for an accomplished multi-site retail leader who combines commercial intelligence with exceptional people leadership.
You will bring:
Proven experience as a State Manager, Regional Manager, Area Manager or senior multi-site retail leader.
Experience leading a significant portfolio of stores across multiple markets or regions.
A background within luxury, premium fashion, accessories or another highly customer-focused retail environment will be highly regarded.
Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to drive sales, profitability and business performance.
Exceptional people leadership with demonstrated success developing Store Managers and building succession pipelines.
A genuine passion for clienteling and creating exceptional customer experiences.
Strong analytical capability with the ability to turn performance data into clear commercial actions.
Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Confidence navigating change and providing stability and direction to teams.
A collaborative, positive and solutions-focused leadership style.
Flexibility to travel regularly across NSW and QLD.
