Floating Store Manager - NSW

Leading Australian Womenswear Brand
Now Hiring in NSW

The Brand |

Our client is a leading Australian womenswear brand celebrated for creating confidence through style. With a reputation for trend-led collections, elevated occasionwear, and exceptional customer experiences, they have cultivated a loyal following and a strong national retail presence.

Passionate about empowering women, the business fosters a dynamic and people-first culture where development, connection, and commercial success go hand in hand. As the retail network continues to evolve, an exciting opportunity exists for an agile and inspiring Floating Store Manager to support boutiques across New South Wales.

The Role |

As Floating Store Manager - NSW, you will be a highly visible and influential leader, stepping into boutiques across the NSW network to provide leadership, stability, and commercial direction wherever the business needs you most.

No two weeks will necessarily look the same. You may step into a boutique during a leadership transition, support a newly appointed manager, provide additional leadership during peak trade, or take ownership of a store while recruitment is underway.

You'll quickly immerse yourself in each boutique, understand its people and commercial opportunities, and create immediate impact. Leading from the shop floor, you'll inspire teams, elevate customer experience, and ensure every boutique continues to perform at its best.

In addition, you will:

  • Step into Store Manager responsibilities across multiple NSW boutique locations as required.

  • Lead, coach, and inspire teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and commercial results.

  • Drive sales performance across key retail metrics including conversion, ATV, UPT, and overall store targets.

  • Quickly assess boutique performance and identify opportunities to improve sales, productivity, and team capability.

  • Support emerging leaders and Assistant Store Managers, providing coaching and confidence during periods of transition.

  • Maintain strong operational, visual merchandising, and brand standards across every location.

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of retail team members.

  • Manage rostering, productivity, stock integrity, and day-to-day boutique operations.

  • Partner closely with Area and State leadership, providing meaningful insights into store performance and team capability.

  • Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative culture wherever you go.

The Skillset |

This role will suit an accomplished Store Manager who thrives on variety, enjoys developing people, and can confidently walk into a new environment and build credibility quickly.
You will bring:

  • Proven experience as a successful Store Manager within fashion, lifestyle, or specialty retail.

  • A strong track record of driving sales, KPIs, and overall store performance.

  • Exceptional people leadership with the ability to coach and motivate different personalities and team structures.

  • Confidence stepping into new stores and quickly identifying commercial and operational priorities.

  • A genuine passion for fashion, styling, and creating memorable customer experiences.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret performance and translate insights into action.

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills.

  • An adaptable, resilient, and solutions-focused approach to leadership.

  • Flexibility to travel and work across multiple NSW boutique locations as required.

  • A hands-on leadership style and genuine love of being present on the shop floor.

The Offer |

  • A unique NSW-wide leadership opportunity offering greater variety and exposure than a traditional Store Manager position.

  • Work across multiple boutiques and build relationships throughout an established national retail network.

  • Partner closely with Area, State, and senior retail leadership.

  • Develop your capability across different store environments, teams, and commercial challenges.

  • Ongoing coaching, training, and leadership development.

  • Competitive salary package and performance incentives.

  • Generous product benefits and team discounts.

  • Genuine career progression opportunities within a growing Australian fashion business.
