We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Store Manager to join their high-performing team at Essendon DFO. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail leader who loves fast-paced environments, developing teams and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The Role |
Working closely with the Store Manager, you will help lead, inspire and develop the team while driving strong commercial results and delivering an elevated customer experience.
You will also:
Build a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture
Support the Store Manager in driving sales, productivity and profitability
Coach and develop the team to achieve individual and store KPIs
Lead from the floor, delivering exceptional service and building strong client relationships
Support rostering, wage management, visual merchandising and operational standards
Implement effective sales strategies and identify opportunities to improve store performance
Maintain strong communication across the team and wider business
The Skillset |
1-2+ years of retail management experience, ideally within outlet, premium or fashion retail
Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills
A commercial mindset with experience working towards sales targets and KPIs
Strong clientelling and CRM experience
Experience managing wages, visual merchandising and store operations
Confidence working within a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment
Excellent communication skills and a positive, hands-on leadership style
