The Brand |  

Our client is a family-owned business even after 50 years in operation! They’re renowned for being one of the world's leading specialist watch retailers with an established presence across the Asia Pacific Region. They’re a leader in their field and known for being the official retailer and distributor for a carefully curated selection of speciality and luxury watch brands. We are now looking for a Sales Associate for the Boutique in Auckland, New Zealand.  

The Role |

As a Sales Associate, you are a trusted brand ambassador. Your client centric approach, knowledge of product and passion for further developing customer interactions with new and existing clients will be evident. In this role, you:

  • You possess a positive mindset with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

  • Build, nurture and maintain a VIP database – with a entrepreneurial spirit you will drive proactive engagement with new and existing clients.

  • You are self-motivated to achieve and exceed targets and are eager to continually improve yourself to build on your retail and product knowledge.

  • You will work towards defined personal and team targets, play a key role in the success of your boutique and continually develop your sales expertise and product knowledge.

  • You are the ideal team player, adaptable and ever ready to go the extra mile.

The Skills | 

To be successful in this role we are looking for profiles with a background in clientelling and front facing client experience!

  • Proactive learner and able to build a solid understanding of the product, knowledge of the brands stocked.

  • The ability to work with people of various backgrounds including open communication and making sound decisions 

  • Exceptional client relationship skills and the ability to build loyal and lasting relationships. You have a customer first mindset and are focused on exceeding you customer expectations.

  • Intermediate computer skills with the ability to provide clear and accurate reports on the category 

  • Prior experience in a premium service, hospitality sector or in a luxury retail environment will be preferred. Bonus points for all watch enthusiasts!

  • Impeccable grooming and personal presentation
