The Brand |
Our client is a luxury fashion boutique and concept store based in Mount Maunganui, NZ - Inspired by London department stores like Selfridges and Liberty, the brand was created to bring an elevated designer fashion experience to the Bay of Plenty.
The store is known for curating premium New Zealand, Australian, and international designer labels including Victoria Beckham, Anine Bing, Camilla & Marc, Deadly Ponies, Marle, Alemais, La Tribe, and more. They stock more than 50 luxury fashion and lifestyle brands and offer in-store styling, events, loyalty programs and ship worldwide.
The Role |
We are now seeking a Retail Lead to drive sales, deliver an exceptional customer experience, optimise operations and inspire your team to style incredible outfits for their loyal client base.
Infused with energy but embodying simplistic and elevated design, this brand is dedicated to the highest quality fabrications and sought after pieces for the everyday wardrobe.
Reporting to the Founder, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of a retail strategy to build a client network in the Bay of Plenty , as well managing the day-to-day operations and development of your talented team.
Client management
Delivering exceptional assistance and styling expertise to all clients
Keep a working document of VIPs, including their contact details, spend totals, personal notes, preferred outreach style and regularity of outreach
Packing and posting of orders that require it
Maintaining exceptional visual standards and cleanliness
Visual merchandising of shop floor in line with HO directive
Driving personal and team sales through client interaction, product knowledge and styling in order to hit and excel set KPI’s
The Skillset |
We are looking for a dedicated Retail Manager who is solutions focused and growth orientated - who is obsessed with contemporary fashion:
Ability to build and maintain a client book and positive rapport with customer base
Self-motivated, goal-oriented focus
Experience working and selling with technology
Excellent communication skills
The ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Awareness of global trends across fashion and luxury and personal presentation to align
Enjoy working in a team environment
Able to bring a positive, engaging energy to the workplace
Comfortable, knowledgeable using Excel, Microsoft & G Suite
