Dedicated to making every woman feel their absolute best when wearing one of their designs, this is an established online retailer who are going from strength to strength. They have been kicking goals and winning awards through their high levels of engagement on socials. We have a newly created role for a Designer/developer who has high levels of experience working with Curve sizes (16-22) to tailor the range to focus on inclusivity and wearability!

The Role |

The Product Designer role is responsible for designing commercially successful womenswear collections that are thoughtfully created for real women, with a strong focus on fit, inclusivity, wearability, and commercial performance. Working closely with the Head of Buying, this role will lead the end-to-end design and development process across the product range, ensuring collections align with the brand aesthetic and resonate strongly with the Australian customer.

This role plays a key part in shaping a size-inclusive product strategy, designing with the size 16 customer as the starting point and ensuring flattering, wearable silhouettes across sizes 8–20.

  • Design commercially successful collections aligned to the customer and brand aesthetic

  • Design with the size 16 customer as the starting point to ensure true inclusivity in fit and form

  • Create original print concepts and collaborate with suppliers to develop exclusive print stories

  • Manage the product design and development process from initial concept through to sampling and production

  • Lead and contribute to fit sessions, providing clear technical direction to improve grading and fit outcomes

  • Work closely with Buying, Production, and Creative teams to ensure consistency across product, brand, and customer expectations

  • Develop detailed technical packs and communicate product requirements clearly to suppliers

  • Collaborate with offshore suppliers to ensure timely development and execution of product

  • Analyse sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to inform future range development

  • Ensure all products align with commercial objectives while balancing trend relevance and everyday wearability

  • Maintain awareness of local and international fashion trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer preferences

The Skillset |

We are looking for an experienced Product Developer who has strong experience working with a wide size curve and has particularly developed a range to include sizes 16-20 who is passionate about inclusive and size-led design.

  • 5+ years’ experience in womenswear design

  • Demonstrated experience designing “size 16 first” rather than grading up from smaller base sizes

  • Experience working with offshore suppliers and managing remote product development

  • Proven ability to develop commercially successful fashion collections

  • Experience leading and contributing to fit sessions

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced fashion or ecommerce retail environment

  • Proven experience creating exclusive print

  • Advanced understanding of fit, grading, and garment construction across sizes 8–20

  • Ability to interpret sales data and customer insights into design decisions

  • Strong communication and supplier management skills

  • Ability to manage the product development process from concept through to production

  • Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills

  • Deep understanding of the Australian womenswear market and customer profile (25–45 demographic)

  • Strong knowledge of print design including placement, engineered, and repeat prints

  • Technical understanding of fabrications, drape, and fit considerations for curve sizing
