The Role |
This role has a predominant focus on payroll services and will also broadly support the HR team with people operations for Australia and New Zealand. You will deliver accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services and support people operations for a wide range of stores and head office function and align local processes with global strategies to ensure a seamless employee experience.
Payroll Operations: Manage End-to-end payroll management with vendor collaboration.
Vendor Oversight: Ensure compliance with labour laws, tax filings, equity processing, and year-end activities.
System Integration: Support data flow between Workday, Payroll, and Time & Attendance systems (UKG, ADP)
Compliance: Ensure adherence to local legislation and company policies.
Process Improvement: Drive efficiency and accuracy, focusing on ESS/MSS model optimization.
Documentation: Maintain SOPs and payroll documentation.
Benefits Administration: Manage supplementary insurance and other employee benefits.
Support Workday adoption and employee lifecycle activities (e.g., personnel file management, onboarding etc.).
The Skillset |
This is the perfect role for a junior payroll specialist ready to grow with a luxury group!
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
Minimum 2 years in ANZ payroll; HR operations experience preferred or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of ANZ employment laws, tax, superannuation, and statutory reporting.
Proven experience in managing vendor relationships.
Detail-oriented, process-driven, and accountable, Proactive and solution-oriented
Proficient in Excel and HR/payroll systems (Workday, SAP, UKG, ADP, TMF).
Fast learner and adaptable with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Analytical with system/reporting awareness and attention to detail
Deadline-driven and resilient under pressure and a collaborative team player
Maintains confidentiality and integrity, and embraces change and continuous improvement
