National Retail Manager

The Brand |

In a new partnership we are working with a stunning design led cashmere brand based in New Zealand. With their luxurious product offering they have a range of stores across New Zealand along with their eCommerce channel – they have a dedication to an exceptional customer experience – ensuring their clients enjoy timeless elegant styles. They are now seeking a National Retail Manager to lead their retail channel.

The Role |

Female owned and operated – you will bring your experience and passion for styling and retail to the business – day to day will see you own operations of their 6 stores, driving sales and performance, client experience and leadership and team development.

  • Leadership & Management - lead, mentor, and develop passionate store managers to ensure consistent and effective management across all stores.

  • Conduct weekly store visits to assess performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and profitability goals.

  • Implement initiatives to drive sales, increase average transaction value (ATV), and improve conversion rates.

  • Ensure all stores adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimising shrinkage

  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained and aligned with brand guidelines

  • Maintain a high standard of customer service across all stores, ensuring a premium shopping experience.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on store performance, including sales, profitability, and key metrics.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute in-store promotions and events.

The Skillset |

  • Proven experience in a national retail management role, preferably within the fashion industry.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to analyse data and make informed business decisions.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Knowledge of retail operations, including increasing sales, inventory management, and visual merchandising.

  • Passion for fashion, customer service and understanding of the luxury market.

  • Flexibility to travel regularly to all store locations including those out of Auckland.
