The Role |
You will sit at the intersection of planning, trading, inventory management and commercial decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the business has the right stock, in the right place, at the right time, with clear visibility across sales, demand, margin and inventory risk.
You will pay a critical role in supporting growth by identifying opportunities, managing stock flow, improving trade performance, reducing missed sales, and helping the business make smarter decisions across buying, replenishment, markdowns, delivery flow and channel allocation.
A strategic thinker whilst also being very hands-on in the day-to-day trading of the business.
Trading & Commercial Performance
Drive weekly trade across e-commerce and wholesale, focusing on sales, margin, sell-through and stock productivity. Monitor performance across channels and identify risks/opportunities early, providing clear, actionable recommendations. Produce weekly trade reports with insights, tracking best sellers, slow movers and missed opportunities, and advise on reorders, markdowns and stock rebalancing.
Planning & Inventory Management
Own end-to-end inventory visibility, ensuring effective stock allocation across all channels. Optimise stock flow and deployment to maximise sell-through and minimise risk, aligning inbound deliveries with trade priorities and improving coordination across production, logistics and sales.
E-commerce Planning & Trading
Partner with e-commerce to track performance metrics (conversion, AOV, UPT, sell-through) and optimise stock by launch and category. Identify growth opportunities through improved stock depth, replenishment and launch flow, and support trade actions to drive performance.
Wholesale Planning & Account Support
Support wholesale by ensuring strong stock availability and delivery visibility. Monitor order book performance and identify revenue opportunities through improved planning and trading. Provide account-level insights to enhance future buying and in-season decisions.
Forecasting, OTB & Reporting
Build and manage forecasts and open-to-buy across channels, aligning stock commitments with financial and cash flow targets. Deliver reporting and analysis on key metrics to inform planning, budgeting and reforecasting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a central link across e-commerce, wholesale, production, logistics, finance and leadership to ensure aligned decision-making. Drive stronger planning discipline, improve reporting accuracy and enhance overall trading processes.
The Skillset |
Strong experience in merchandise planning, trading or inventory management within fashion.
Experience working across both e-commerce and wholesale is strongly preferred.
Highly analytical with strong commercial judgement.
Ability to turn data into clear actions and recommendations.
Strong understanding of sales performance, sell-through, stock turn, margin and inventory productivity.
Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data and reporting tools.
Strong attention to detail and high level of ownership.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Hands-on, proactive and solution-oriented.
