The Role |
This is a true ground-up opportunity. A standalone eCommerce role with full ownership to rebuild, reimagine and scale the digital experience end-to-end.
You will take the lead in redeveloping the website from scratch, owning both the strategic direction and hands-on execution. Operating as a self-sufficient specialist, you will bring a highly technical and commercially driven approach, leveraging platforms such as Shopify and Klaviyo while integrating the latest AI tools and automation to future-proof performance.
Working in a silo, you will be empowered to build best-in-class systems, optimise the customer journey, and drive measurable growth across all digital touchpoints.
Own the end-to-end redevelopment of the website, from architecture through to execution.
Lead, optimise and report on key eCommerce performance metrics including conversion, AOV, site speed and engagement.
Drive UX/UI enhancements grounded in data, testing and customer behaviour insights.
Manage and optimise Shopify, ensuring a high-performing, scalable infrastructure.
Own Klaviyo strategy and execution, including flows, segmentation and campaign optimisation.
Identify and implement AI tools and automation to enhance personalisation, efficiency and performance.
Manage global websites, ensuring seamless localisation and consistent brand execution across regions.
Oversee content planning and site updates aligned to the marketing and campaign calendar.
Lead the rollout and ongoing optimisation of a client-facing app.
Execute eCommerce merchandising, including product uploads, catalogue structure and launch management.
Collaborate with creative teams to source and publish high-quality content and imagery.
Run ongoing A/B testing and CRO initiatives to continuously improve performance.
The Skillset |
Proven experience building or significantly redeveloping an eCommerce function or website from the ground up.
Minimum 5+ years in eCommerce, ideally within a premium or luxury DTC brand (fashion, jewellery or beauty preferred).
Advanced hands-on experience with Shopify / Shopify Plus and Klaviyo.
Strong understanding of emerging AI tools and their application within eCommerce (automation, personalisation, optimisation).
Highly technical and digitally savvy, with the ability to independently problem-solve and implement solutions.
Deep knowledge of UX/UI principles and customer journey optimisation.
Strong analytical capability across platforms such as Google Analytics and Shopify Analytics.
Solid understanding of SEO within an eCommerce ecosystem.
Experience managing global or multi-region websites.
Strong attention to detail with a refined design eye aligned to premium brand standards.
Comfortable working autonomously in a standalone, high-ownership role.
