This Australian Contemporary Designer brand is on the rise globally from showcasing at Paris Fashion Week to the worlds coolest "it" girls with their pieces on high rotation and the most prominent shopping destinations with the brand in stock - you will know and love this brand. This is a significant time of growth with multiple incredible projects underway - we are now searching for a International Sales Director to join their team based in Sydney, in 2026.
The Role |
The International Sales Director is a key appointment with significant global experience required. Responsible for developing and maximizing the business, you will drive strategic planning, sales analysis, account relationships as well as working closely with the design team on the line architecture and assortment planning to consistently deliver net sales and profit expectations.
Responsible for driving the top-line revenue in line with the global luxury brand strategy - You will drive the overall success of all sales channels, manage the top level and execute growth strategies in line with business goals across Wholesale both locally and internationally.
Foster strategic customer relationships with all key accounts to drive market share, revenue and growth.
Lead, coach and train sales team - implement learning plans, engagement and succession strategies.
Develop and drive strategic plans by account that position the brand for growth and market share gains.
Develop seasonal product strategy briefs to the design team to ensure the product assortments necessary to deliver expected financial results.
Stay current on competitive landscape and market trends.
Work closely with design on Visual Merchandising to achieve strong product storytelling and compelling in-store presentation strategies.
Develop strategic marketing plans for key accounts in partnership with Marketing team.
The Skillset |
You have extensive experience in working in the fashion industry with an in-depth expertise in Wholesale with a broad understanding of eCommerce for Luxury/Aus Designer.
Very strong industry buyers & client base relationships within the eCommerce and luxury retail sector (Farfetch etc).
The ability to scale up and down and the capacity to get your hands dirty as required.
Result-orientated and financial literacy combined with strong commercial acumen.
Fantastic verbal and written communication skills.
8+ years of related experience.
High level of analytical skills, problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Flexibility with schedule for Market Calendar and Special Projects.
Flexibility and ability to travel.
