The Role |
Fitting, construction of all garments at the highest quality standards.
Translate new designs into patterns
Prepare new patterns from design sketches
Attend fit session ensuring all changes that are required are accurately recorded and executed until the style is approved for range SMS
Provide all patternmaking information for tech pack, including the final update to design sheet, make sheets notes and size specification. Detailed and thorough tech packs for off shore manufacturers
Measure and control fit of garment approvals [Protos, salesman, pre-production and shipment samples]
Provide advice and support on fabrications, wash and garment finishes to both designers.
Maintain Critical Path
Participate in regular meetings with Design and Production team to discuss progress / issues
The Skillset |
3-5 years experience in a Garment Tech role within premium womenswear apparel
3-5 years experience in a Pattern Maker role within designer womenswear apparel
Highly organised, efficient
Meticulous attention to detail
Must be proficient in StyleCAD
