As their international footprint grows, they’re now seeking an experienced and commercially-driven Girlswear Buyer to join the Buying team and lead the Girlswear category across global markets.

The Role |

As the Girlswear Buyer, you will be at the forefront of curating trend-driven, commercial, and balanced product ranges that speak to a global customer. Working in synergy with Design, Planning, and Production teams, your goal is to deliver product that inspires, delights, and delivers results.

This is a unique opportunity to drive the strategic direction of a growing category within a global retail environment, while mentoring a team of junior talent and influencing key business outcomes.

  • Build a commercially balanced range, considering colour, print, and end use across all regions

  • Partner closely with Design to deliver fashion-forward and trend-right product

  • Manage the full buying lifecycle – from range planning and supplier communication to trading and markdown strategy

  • Use market insights and performance data to drive decision-making and range evolution

  • Ensure critical path timelines are met and all product meets quality, fit, and brand standards

  • Collaborate with Planning to manage OTB, price architecture and category performance

  • Mentor and lead a small team, fostering growth and accountability

The Skillset |

  • Proven experience in a Girlswear Buyer or Junior Buyer role (min. 2–3 years)

  • A deep understanding of product lifecycle, garment construction, fabrications and fit

  • A strong grasp of international markets, seasonal needs and local nuances

  • Confidence in trading and making data-driven decisions

  • Team leadership and mentorship experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Fashion Design, Buying or a related discipline

  • A genuine passion for youth fashion and a finger on the pulse of global trends
