An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join their brand-new Bowral boutique, playing an integral role in launching the location, building the team and establishing a loyal local client community from day one.
The Role |
As Assistant Store Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to bring this brand-new boutique to life, supporting across people, performance and the overall client experience.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a strong 2IC, Supervisor or emerging Assistant Manager ready to take on more responsibility, or an established ASM excited by the opportunity to be part of a new store opening.
In addition, you will:
Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching and inspiring the boutique team.
Play an active role in the successful opening and establishment of the new Bowral location.
Drive sales, budgets and key retail KPIs.
Lead from the floor and create an elevated, highly personalised styling experience.
Build a loyal local client base through genuine relationship-building and clientelling.
Coach and develop team members to build confidence and capability.
Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training of the new team.
Assist with rostering, productivity, stock and day-to-day boutique operations.
Maintain exceptional visual merchandising and presentation standards.
Step confidently into the Store Manager role in their absence.
Help create a positive, energetic and high-performing store culture from the very beginning.

We're looking for someone who genuinely loves fashion, styling and people, and is excited by the opportunity to help build a brand-new store and team.
You will ideally bring:
Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, 2IC, Supervisor or senior fashion retail leader.
A strong understanding of sales targets and retail KPIs.
Confidence coaching, motivating and giving feedback to a team.
A genuine passion for styling and creating memorable client experiences.
Strong clientelling and relationship-building skills.
A hands-on approach and love of being on the shop floor.
Strong operational and visual merchandising capability.
Energy, polish and the ambition to continue progressing within fashion retail.
