Our client is a highly regarded Australian lifestyle retailer known for quality, craftsmanship and beautifully considered products. With a loyal customer following and stores across the country, the brand has created a retail experience centred around genuine service, product knowledge and helping customers find pieces they’ll love for years to come. We are now looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join their Kotara store.

Working closely with the Store Manager, you’ll play an important role in developing the team, driving results and bringing the customer experience to life, with plenty of opportunity to continue growing your retail leadership career.



The Role |

As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll work closely with the Store Manager to lead from the floor, supporting team development, customer experience and the commercial performance of the store. In addition,

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Store Manager across daily store performance and operations

  • Leading, coaching and motivating the team on the floor

  • Driving sales, budgets and KPIs

  • Delivering an elevated, customer-first experience

  • Providing regular feedback, training and development

  • Maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and presentation

  • Supporting stock management and operational processes

  • Taking ownership of the store in the Store Manager’s absence

  • Creating a positive, inclusive and accountable team culture


The Skillset |

We're looking for an experienced retail leader with strong commercial capability and a genuine passion for people and customer experience. You’ll bring the confidence and leadership presence to connect with an experienced team and loyal customer base.

You will bring:

  • Previous Store Manager experience within a fast-paced retail environment

  • Experience leading a high-volume or high-turnover store

  • Outlet, big-box or large-format retail experience will be highly regarded

  • Strong commercial capability across sales, budgets and KPIs

  • Confidence coaching, developing and motivating an established team

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • The ability to navigate performance conversations with maturity

  • Strong operational capability across stock, VM and store standards

  • A polished and customer-focused leadership style

  • The ability to hit the ground running and confidently take ownership of your store
