The Role |
We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Store Manager to lead the Chadstone flagship location. Reporting to the Area Manager and working closely with the ANZ Support Office, you’ll be responsible for driving commercial success, enhancing the client experience, and leading a passionate team in one of Australia’s most prominent retail destinations.
Leadership | Lead, motivate, and develop a team of outdoor enthusiasts to deliver exceptional service and performance. You’ll be an energetic and hands-on leader, fostering teamwork, accountability, and pride in every interaction.
Client Experience | Champion an engaging, community-driven client experience that reflects the brand’s spirit of adventure. Build authentic connections with customers through storytelling, product expertise, and personalised service that inspires exploration.
Sales & Results | Own the store’s commercial performance, driving sales, maximising profitability, and identifying growth opportunities. Use insights, data, and local market knowledge to deliver exceptional business outcomes.
Operational Excellence | Oversee all areas of store operations, from stock management and compliance to visual merchandising and team scheduling. Ensure smooth daily operations and uphold the highest standards of brand presentation and efficiency.
Brand Standards | Be the ambassador of the brand’s purpose and passion. Ensure every team member represents the brand authentically, confidently, and in alignment with its sustainability and exploration values.
Collaboration | Work closely with your Area Manager and Support Office to execute strategic initiatives, share insights, and contribute to the wider brand community across Australia and New Zealand.
The Skills |
Proven experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a high-volume, lifestyle, or premium retail environment.
Strong commercial acumen and results-driven mindset.
A motivational and inclusive leadership style with a focus on team development.
Passion for the outdoors, adventure, and technical product. Ideally an avid hiker or adventurer.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
