The Role |
We are seeking an energetic and inspiring Assistant Manager to join the World Square team. Working closely with the Store Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving commercial results, leading the team, and ensuring a seamless, engaging, and high-performing retail environment in one of Sydney’s busiest locations.
Leadership | Support and motivate a passionate retail team to deliver excellence in service and performance. Lead by example on the floor, coach with purpose, and cultivate a culture of teamwork, accountability, and pride.
Client Experience | Champion an authentic and adventurous client experience. Engage with customers through product knowledge, storytelling, and service that inspires confidence and connection to the brand’s values.
Sales & Results | Drive daily performance by setting clear goals, motivating your team, and analysing results to identify growth opportunities. Contribute to achieving and exceeding store targets while maximising profitability.
Operational Excellence | Assist with daily store operations, including stock management, visual presentation, and compliance. Ensure the store runs efficiently and reflects the brand’s commitment to quality and detail.
Collaboration | Partner closely with your Store Manager and regional support team to execute initiatives, share insights, and deliver operational and commercial success across the broader network.
The Skills |
Proven experience as an Assistant Manager within retail, ideally in a lifestyle, active, or premium environment.
Strong leadership skills with a genuine passion for people and development.
Commercially minded with an ability to interpret data and drive results.
Passion for exploration, sustainability, and purpose-led retail.
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
