The Role |
This is a 3 day a week role where you’ll lead the end-to-end design process for Accessories - translating Creative Direction into innovative, performance-driven products that are equal parts functional and iconic.
From concept to execution, you’ll create accessories that solve real problems for the community while strengthening the visual identity and DNA of the brand. You’ll balance newness with commerciality, performance with aesthetic, and innovation with scalability.
Working closely with Creative Direction, Merchandising, Product Development, Raw Materials and Supply Chain, you’ll ensure every product delivers on performance purpose.
Beyond product creation, you’ll help elevate the Design function - mentoring junior designers, bringing fresh inspiration into the team, and building a culture of curiosity, accountability and joy in the process.

Create original, performance-led accessory designs aligned to seasonal Creative Direction
Identify new franchises, design DNA details and innovation opportunities
Translate concept into clear technical briefs and specifications
Stay close to global trends, community behaviours and performance needs
Contribute to workflow optimisation and team efficiency
Travel to suppliers, markets and innovation trade shows to keep the brand ahead of the curve
The Skillset |
The Creative Vision - Proven experience designing accessories (ideally within performance, sportswear or lifestyle categories) with a strong ability to translate brand vision into commercially viable product.
The Innovation Mindset - A constant curiosity for new materials, construction techniques, performance features and emerging technologies — always pushing the category forward.
The Technical Excellence - Confidence in CAD, tech packs and PLM systems, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and garment/accessory construction.
The Commercial Awareness - Ability to balance community favourites with fresh innovation, aligning design direction to range architecture and commercial outcomes.
The Collaboration - A natural collaborator who partners seamlessly with Creative Direction, Merchandising, Planning, Product Development and Supply Chain to deliver aligned outcomes.
The Execution - Highly organised and detail-oriented, meeting critical path deadlines while maintaining exceptional standards.
