Studio & Wholesale Manager

New Zealand Jewellery Brand
Now Hiring in New Zealand

The Brand |

Join an established New Zealand jewellery brand in a pivotal role spanning studio operations, wholesale, inventory and commercial growth.

Built around the idea of accessible, relaxed luxury, the brand is known for its modern-vintage aesthetic, combining timeless influences with a more directional, edgy approach to jewellery.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptionally organised, commercially minded operator to join a close-knit team within a beautiful, design-led business.

The Role |

Working closely with the Founder, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the studio while playing an increasingly important role across inventory and production planning, wholesale account management, customer experience and wider commercial initiatives.

Far from a traditional administration role, this position calls for someone who naturally sees what needs to happen next. You’ll be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, solving problems, building relationships and using both data and commercial instinct to keep the business moving forward.

With a broad remit across the business, your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking ownership of day-to-day studio operations, administration and workflow

  • Managing multiple projects, deadlines and priorities with exceptional attention to detail

  • Overseeing inventory accuracy, stock movement, replenishment and incoming deliveries

  • Monitoring sales and stock performance to identify best sellers, slow movers and potential stock shortages

  • Supporting forecasting, production planning and reorders in line with demand, lead times and budgets

  • Coordinating production requirements and liaising with suppliers

  • Managing existing wholesale accounts, orders, enquiries and retailer relationships

  • Managing online orders

  • Managing email marketing to stockists around new products, product education and company updates

  • Proactively identifying replenishment and growth opportunities across wholesale partners

  • Supporting new retailer onboarding and, over time, presenting collections to stockists

  • Providing merchandising and product recommendations to retail partners

  • Managing customer enquiries, returns, repairs and product-related issues

  • Supporting collection launches, showroom appointments, events and pop-up stores

  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and efficiencies

  • Contributing ideas across merchandising, wholesale, events, collaborations and broader commercial initiatives

The Skillset |

You will ideally bring 5+ years’ experience across operations, wholesale, retail, account management, inventory, production or a similarly broad commercial role.

More importantly, you are someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where ownership, initiative and common-sense matter.

You will be:

  • Exceptionally organised with meticulous attention to detail

  • Commercially minded and naturally curious

  • Proactive, decisive and comfortable taking genuine ownership

  • An excellent written and verbal communicator

  • Confident building relationships with customers, retailers and suppliers

  • Strong across systems, spreadsheets, reporting and numbers - Shopify, Excel, Asana and Xero highly regarded

  • Comfortable interpreting sales and stock data and turning it into action

  • Practical and hands-on - no task is beneath you

  • Calm and methodical when there are multiple moving parts

  • Able to work autonomously without needing constant direction

  • Warm, energetic and solutions focused

  • Genuinely interested in fashion, jewellery, design and premium product

Experience within fashion, jewellery, accessories or premium retail would be highly regarded, particularly when combined with strong operational or wholesale capability.

The Offer |

This is a role with genuine scope to grow.

As your knowledge of the business develops, you’ll have the opportunity to take increasing ownership across studio operations, inventory and production planning, wholesale relationships, customer experience and commercial projects.

For someone who enjoys being close to the product, understands the importance of detail and wants to become an integral part of a growing founder-led business, this is an opportunity to have real impact.

This is a Monday – Friday role based in Auckland onsite. Strong remuneration and benefits!
