The Brand |  

Our Client is a founder led perfumery business.  Australian owned and operated– souring premium ingredients. they produce elevated fragrances at an accessible price point. The last 6 months has seen the brand take on major growth, with the next 12 months looking even brighter as they plan to expand the current store count and rebrand the current store model into premium retail spaces. We are now looking for a Store Manager for their recently opened store in Fountain Gate in Melbourne.

The Role |

As the Store Manager, you will manage all aspects of the day-to-day retail operations and people management – some examples include taking the lead on coaching and development, recruitment, driving in store customer experience and VIP events and wage management.

Working closely with your Team and Head Office to ensure the highest standard of customer service, sales and operational excellence are achieved, 

You’ll work alongside different stake holders daily to develop sales strategies and initiatives to drive sales and business growth in your store. In addition:

  • Develop a leadership team to be driven and own their business - coach and support them in creating strategies to elevate performance, share the brand values and educate customers on the exceptional product offering. 

  • Support ongoing learning and development of all team consistently by providing direct feedback to coach and correct, addressing performance concerns timely.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Own your business through managing and measuring store success based on key KPI’s, compliance and team engagement. 

  • Ensure your team has the product knowledge to educate customers on current range – completed through storytelling, driving team engagement in training nights and on the spot coaching.

The Skills | 

You’re currently a driven Store Manager with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience, within a sales & customer facing environment. You are hands on and can adapt quickly, multitask and work effectively under pressure.

You foster a culture of teamwork; you have a solutions-based mindset and approach to things. You lead from the front and can inspire, educate and motivate those around you. It’s a added bonus if you come from beauty or fragrance. However, the ideal candidate reflects:

  • Attitude is everything! You approach things with a glass half full mentality; you’re always striving for self-improvement and developing those around you.

  • Have an understanding of core retail KPIs and budgets.

  • You are adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Remains persistent, positive and shows resilience.

  • Demonstrated experience in achieving targets & developing others.
