The Role |
As Retail Store Manager, you will lead The Fitting Salon, taking ownership of the day-to-day operations while delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving commercial success.
Reporting directly to the Co-Founders, this is a hands-on leadership role where you'll treat the business as if it were your own. You'll inspire and develop your team, champion the customer journey and work closely with the founders to help shape the future growth of the business.
You will be responsible for:
Leading, coaching and developing a passionate retail team
Driving sales performance and overall store success
Delivering an exceptional, personalised customer experience across all touchpoints
Building genuine customer relationships and creating long term loyalty
Managing day-to-day store operations, including stock, rostering, reporting and store presentation
Recruiting, onboarding and developing a high performing team
Working collaboratively with the founders and wider business to share ideas and drive continuous improvement
Maintaining beautiful visual merchandising and brand standards
Taking ownership of the customer experience program and identifying opportunities to improve the business
Leading by example and creating a positive, supportive and engaging store culture
The Skillset |
We are looking for a commercially minded retail leader who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about people, product and exceptional customer experiences.
This role would suit someone from premium fashion, footwear, lifestyle or specialty retail who enjoys working within a growing founder-led business where initiative, creativity and collaboration are highly valued.
You will bring:
Previous Store Manager experience within premium retail
A proven track record of driving sales and commercial performance
Strong leadership experience with a passion for coaching and developing teams
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Strong operational capability across rostering, stock management and store performance
Confidence using POS systems, Shopify, inventory management platforms and retail technology
A high level of organisation and attention to detail
A proactive, solutions focused mindset
A genuine passion for premium customer experiences and brand storytelling
The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team culture
