The Role |

Reporting to the Head of Product, the Senior Garment Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of fit, construction, and garment performance across all collections. Working closely with Design, Product Development, and offshore suppliers, you will manage the technical development process from initial concept through to bulk production.

This position requires a highly skilled technician with a strong understanding of luxury fabrication, complex garment construction, and premium finishing techniques. You will lead fit sessions, provide expert technical guidance, and ensure the integrity of design is maintained while achieving the brand's exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical development of all garments from first sample through to production approval.

  • Conduct and manage fit sessions, providing clear technical direction to achieve impeccable fit and silhouette.

  • Create and maintain detailed technical packs, specifications, and graded measurements.

  • Work closely with Design and Product Development teams to translate creative concepts into production-ready garments.

  • Partner with offshore factories and suppliers to ensure consistent quality, construction standards, and timelines.

  • Review and approve samples including proto, fit, pre-production, and shipment samples.

  • Provide technical solutions to maintain design integrity while optimising manufacturability.

  • Monitor garment performance, fabrication, and finishing to meet luxury quality expectations.

  • Support the development and implementation of fit standards and technical processes across categories.

  • Mentor and guide junior garment technologists where applicable.

The Skillset | 

  • Extensive experience as a Garment Technician within premium or luxury womenswear.

  • Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and grading.

  • Proven experience managing complex silhouettes, tailoring, and delicate luxury fabrics.

  • Highly skilled in conducting fit sessions and communicating technical corrections clearly to suppliers.

  • Experience working with offshore manufacturers and global supply chains.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with design, production, and product development teams.

  • Ability to balance design vision with technical feasibility and production requirements.
