The Brand I
Our client is a design-led, purpose-driven brand that has spent over a decade building a loyal global following through thoughtful products, a strong digital presence, and a genuine commitment to doing business better. As a certified B Corp, they are now entering an exciting new phase—bringing their brand to life through physical retail, starting with their first Australian store and a broader expansion roadmap.
The Role I
We are seeking a Retail Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in launching and scaling the brand's Australian retail presence. This is a unique opportunity to build a retail network from the ground up. You will be responsible for everything behind the scenes that makes exceptional in-store experiences possible—from site selection and lease negotiations through to store build-outs, operational systems, and leading Store Managers.
You will bridge strategy and execution, ensuring each store opens successfully and operates seamlessly, while developing the frameworks and processes to support future growth.
The Skillset I
Proven experience in retail operations, multi-site management, or similar environments (hospitality or franchise backgrounds also considered).
Strong track record of opening new sites and building retail presence from early stages.
Experience across commercial real estate, including site selection, lease negotiation, and landlord management.
Ability to manage fit-outs and construction projects on time and within budget.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing Store Managers or frontline leaders.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Experience implementing or shaping retail systems and technology.
A process-driven mindset with the ability to build scalable operational frameworks.
