The Role |
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regulatory & Technical Senior Associate to join their Double Bay office -this role will be responsible for ensuring all products are compliant across their lifecycle from formulation and ARTG listing through to labelling, marketing and post-market compliance while supporting fast, commercially aligned product development.
Prepare, review and maintain ARTG evidence packs, technical files and product documentation to ensure ongoing compliance with current regulations.
Assess formulations and ingredients to determine permitted indications and compliant claim pathways for ARTG listing.
Review and approve labels in line with TGA, FSANZ, ACCC and Medsafe.
Support review of marketing and advertising materials to ensure compliance with the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code, FSANZ and ACCC requirements.
Identify, escalate and resolve regulatory gaps or risks early in the product development and listing process.
Provide regulatory and technical input during formulation sign-off and NPD/EPD milestones to ensure smooth and compliant approvals.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders (Product, Marketing, Commercial) to ensure regulatory alignment with business goals.
Maintain awareness of regulatory interpretations and changes through engagement with TGA, FSANZ, Medsafe, ACCC, AdCheck, TAPS and other relevant bodies.
Act as a key regulatory point of contact, providing clear, practical guidance to support decision-making.
Conduct risk assessments on new ingredients, formulations, claims and markets, providing mitigation strategies and recommendations.
Monitor and communicate changes in Australian and international regulatory landscape with clear guidance on business impact and required actions.
The Skillset |
You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You bring a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and a passion for contributing to the success of a fast-paced, science-led organisation.
1–3 years’ experience working with TGA AUST L complementary medicines.
Tertiary qualification in Science, Naturopathy, Regulatory Affairs, Law, Formulation or a related discipline.
Strong working knowledge of TGA, FSANZ, ACCC and Medsafe requirements.
Experience preparing and reviewing formulations, labels, claims and evidence for compliance.
Commercially minded with a solutions-focused approach to compliance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritise, manage multiple projects and meet timelines.
Confident working cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment.
Proactive, curious and comfortable making recommendations.
Collaborative team player with a high level of professionalism and reliability.
