The Role |
We are seeking an experienced and passionate National Retail Training Leader to shape and elevate the learning experience across a growing national retail network.
This is a highly influential role responsible for designing and delivering impactful training programs that build capability, strengthen leadership, and enhance the customer experience across every boutique. Working closely with Retail Operations, People & Culture, and senior leadership, you will identify development opportunities, implement engaging learning initiatives, and ensure teams are equipped with the skills, confidence, and knowledge to perform at their best.
Balancing strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, you'll spend time both in-store and at Head Office, partnering with leaders to coach teams, support new store openings, and drive a culture of continuous learning and development.
Key responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and deliver engaging retail training programs across the national boutique network
Coach and develop Store Managers, Area Leaders, and retail teams to enhance leadership capability and sales performance
Lead onboarding and induction programs for new team members and leaders
Facilitate leadership development workshops and retail training sessions
Partner with Retail Operations and People & Culture to identify capability gaps and implement development strategies
Support new store openings with structured training and operational readiness
Drive product knowledge, styling expertise, customer experience, and selling capability across the business
Measure the effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve learning outcomes
Manage and maintain learning content and compliance through the business's learning management systems
The Skillset |
We're looking for a dynamic retail learning professional who is passionate about developing people and building high-performing retail teams.
You will bring:
Proven experience in a Retail Learning & Development, Training, or Capability role within fashion, lifestyle, or specialty retail
Experience designing and facilitating engaging training programs for large retail teams
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and retail coaching methodologies
Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and develop leaders at all levels
Experience supporting new store openings and large-scale retail initiatives
Strong project management and organisational skills
Experience using UKG learning and workforce management platforms is essential
A passion for customer experience, leadership development, and creating engaging learning environments
Willingness to travel nationally as required
