Assistant Manager

Iconic Australian Brand
Now Hiring in Melbourne

The Brand |

This iconic Australian design brand is known for its distinctive jewellery, homewares and sculptural objects. Celebrated for colour, craftsmanship and thoughtful design, the brand has built a loyal following across Australia and internationally.
With a brand-new store opening in Chadstone, this is an exciting opportunity to join the business at a key moment of growth and help bring the brand to life in one of Australia's most iconic retail destinations.

The Role |

As Assistant Manager, you will support the Store Manager in launching and leading the new Chadstone boutique. You will play a key role in setting the standard from day one, supporting the team and delivering a polished, warm and memorable customer experience.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves product, people and beautiful retail environments. You will lead by example on the floor, educate customers on the brand and collections, and help ensure the store is always presented to the highest standard.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the successful launch of a brand-new store

  • Assisting with day-to-day store operations

  • Leading the floor when required

  • Supporting, motivating and coaching the team

  • Delivering an elevated customer experience

  • Building strong product knowledge across jewellery and homewares

  • Maintaining visual merchandising and presentation standards

  • Supporting stock, replenishment, product care and daily store tasks

  • Creating a positive, supportive and team-focused store environment

The Skillset I

We are looking for a polished and passionate retail professional who can genuinely connect with the brand and support a high-performing store environment.
You do not need jewellery experience, but you will need a strong interest in design, product storytelling and customer experience. This role would suit someone from premium retail, Australian designer, jewellery, homewares, lifestyle, accessories or boutique retail.

You will bring:

  • Previous Assistant Manager or senior retail experience

  • Strong communication skills

  • A warm and engaging customer approach

  • A polished and professional presentation

  • Strong attention to detail

  • A hands-on and proactive approach

  • A genuine passion for product and design

  • Confidence working in a high-traffic retail environment

  • The ability to support and motivate a team

The Offer |

This is a rare opportunity to join a brand-new store opening for a respected Australian design brand.

You will receive strong onboarding, product training, the opportunity to travel to Sydney for training and exposure to the brand's manufacturing process, as well as the chance to be part of building and shaping a new team from launch.

If you are a passionate retail leader who loves beautiful product, thoughtful service and design-led retail, we would love to hear from you.
