The Role |
The Merchandise Assistant supports the Creative Merchandise Manager in coordinating product and assisting with the execution of styling direction across shoots, ads, and content.
The role focuses on organising product selections, supporting outfit building, and ensuring styling direction is prepared and followed through accurately.
It also involves managing and organising styling concepts, inspiration, and creative ideas developed by the Creative Merchandise Manager, and preparing structured presentations and documentation to support internal alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Coordination & Shoot Preparation
Organise product for shoots in line with direction from the Creative Merchandise Manager.
Prepare product selections based on general direction and styling briefs.
Pull product lists from Style Arcade as requested to support briefs.
Maintain and manage the basics rack and core styling racks used for shoots.
Set up outfits and product in preparation for styling, assisting the Creative Merchandise Manager throughout this process.
Styling Support
Assist the Creative Merchandise Manager in building outfit combinations.
Support the execution of styling direction during shoots.
Identify when outfits do not translate in line with the planned styling direction and raise for review.
Ensure styling direction is followed through consistently throughout shoot execution.
Creative Planning, Organisation and Presentation
Manage and organise styling concepts, inspiration, and product direction developed by the Creative Merchandise Manager.
Prepare and maintain PowerPoint boards that document creative merchandise ideas and outfit concepts.
Assist in preparing presentations and materials for internal meetings and briefings as required.
Maintain and organise creative documentation and inspiration from all sources to ensure clarity and ease of reference.
The Skillset |
Strong interest in styling and outfit building.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow direction accurately.
Comfortable working with product lists and extracting data from Style Arcade.
Basic PowerPoint and presentation capability.
Proactive, reliable, and detail focused.
