Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator

Australian Designer Fashion Brand
Now Hiring in Sydney

The Brand |

An established Australian fashion business with a strong presence across wholesale and retail channels, recognised for its distinctive product offering and established network of customers and partners.

As the business continues to evolve, there is now an opportunity for an experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator to join the team and take ownership across the day-to-day movement of product, inventory and customer orders.

The Role |

This is a hands-on coordination role sitting at the centre of the business's logistics, inventory and order fulfilment function, supporting the seamless movement of product from international suppliers and factories through to warehouse and ultimately wholesale and retail customers.

Highly cross-functional, you will communicate daily with overseas suppliers, factories and logistics partners, while partnering internally with Sales, Merchandising, Finance and Warehouse teams to keep production, shipments and customer orders moving according to plan.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating international inbound and outbound freight across sea, air and domestic transport

  • Managing relationships and daily communication with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, warehouses, overseas suppliers and factories

  • Preparing and maintaining shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists and customs documentation

  • Tracking international shipments and proactively resolving freight, customs and delivery issues

  • Ensuring import/export processes and shipping requirements are accurately followed

  • Monitoring inbound stock through warehouse receiving and ensuring deliveries are processed efficiently

  • Preparing customer orders according to individual compliance and delivery requirements

  • Managing billing and ensuring required payments are received prior to dispatch

  • Tracking customer orders through to final delivery and maintaining strong OTIF performance

  • Managing stock movements and allocations and investigating inventory discrepancies

  • Monitoring production and shipment timelines to identify potential delays before they impact delivery

  • Supporting wholesale and retail customer fulfilment requirements

  • Maintaining accurate supply chain and logistics information across ERP and WMS systems

  • Producing inventory, freight and operational reporting

  • Monitoring KPIs including OTIF, freight costs, inventory accuracy and lead times

  • Using Excel and reporting tools to improve visibility across the supply chain

  • Identifying opportunities to improve logistics efficiency, workflows and operational costs

  • Supporting continuous improvement across warehouse, distribution and wider supply chain operations.

This is an opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys the operational detail of logistics and takes pride in keeping multiple moving parts organised, accurate and on schedule.

The Skillset |

You will be an experienced and highly organised logistics, supply chain or operations professional who understands the pace and complexity of moving product within a fashion, apparel, retail or wholesale environment.
Detail-oriented and solutions-focused, you will be comfortable managing multiple shipments, orders and priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy across documentation, inventory and systems.

You will ideally bring:

  • 3+ years' experience within logistics, supply chain or operations coordination

  • Previous experience within fashion, apparel, retail or wholesale environments

  • Strong knowledge of international freight, shipping and import/export processes

  • Experience coordinating sea and air freight and working with freight forwarders and customs brokers

  • Exposure to overseas factories, suppliers and production timelines

  • Experience working with international or overseas 3PL warehouses

  • Strong inventory management and stock-control capability

  • Understanding of wholesale and retail order fulfilment

  • Experience managing shipping and customs documentation

  • Strong ERP/WMS capability, ideally across systems such as Zedonk, SAP, NetSuite, Apparel21 or similar

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • An understanding of supply chain KPIs including OTIF, lead times, inventory accuracy and freight costs

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving capability

  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship-management skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to confidently manage competing priorities.

A qualification across Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related discipline would be advantageous, as would previous experience within a fashion, luxury or apparel business.

Above all, this opportunity will suit someone who loves the rhythm of logistics, thrives in the detail and enjoys being the person behind the scenes ensuring product gets exactly where it needs to be, when it needs to be there.
