The Role |

You will play a critical part in driving sales and gross margin outcomes through insightful reporting, forecasting and cross-functional collaboration.

Partnering closely with regional and global stakeholders, you will provide key business insights, performance analysis and recommendations that support commercial decision-making, operational improvements and long-term growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Drive reporting, analysis and planning across sales and gross margin performance for the ANZ direct business

  • Monitor and communicate daily, weekly and monthly business performance against plans, targets and prior year results

  • Present key findings, risks and opportunities to local, regional and leadership teams

  • Analyse performance trends and deliver actionable insights to support commercial outcomes

Planning & Forecasting

  • Develop, manage and maintain bottom-up sales plans and forecasts

  • Support quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and long-range planning processes

  • Ensure alignment between commercial plans and broader business strategies

  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making

Business Insights & Optimisation

  • Identify SWOT opportunities and contribute to key commercial discussions

  • Deliver insights to support merchandising, inventory and expense planning

  • Support initiatives focused on sales optimisation, margin improvement and operational efficiencies

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting across brands and markets as required

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Global and Regional Merchandising teams to understand seasonal strategies, product priorities and growth opportunities

  • Contribute to category and departmental growth strategies through data-driven recommendations

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes, reporting and business tools

KPI Management

  • Manage and maintain key business performance metrics including:

    • Sales performance and benchmarking

    • Traffic and conversion

    • Productivity by store, customer and labour hour

    • ADT, UPT, AUR, AUC

    • Discount Rate %

    • Gross Margin and IMU%

Continuous Improvement & Projects

  • Identify opportunities to improve current processes and reporting capabilities

  • Support or lead special projects as required by the business

The Skillset |

  • Highly analytical with strong commercial acumen 

  • Advanced reporting and forecasting capability

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Experience working within retail, fashion or consumer-driven environments preferred

  • Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations

  • Proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused mindset
