Ecommerce Specialist

The Brand |
Licensed merchandise leader representing some of the world's most iconic and premium brands across sports, music, entertainment and lifestyle categories. They offer a customised and diverse product range of both retail and promotional packages, and manage end to end design process to Licensees This role is responsible for all online sales channels and digital representation of the organisation.

The Role |

  • Ownership of all online assets and products, ensuring products are activated on time. Source and publish content including products, imagery and SEO-rich descriptions on the site

  • Coordinate, set up and drive promotional activity across the website including, banners, sales pages, collections, and special offers

  • Assist with and execute the creation of online and digital campaigns across the website

    Establish and ownership of social campaigns implementing strategies and initiatives that increase traffic and conversion on site

    Develop strategy and execute the implementation of SEO, SEM, UX, online promotions, visitor engagement, analytics, reporting

  • Liaise with development team to implement UX improvements to site and troubleshoot any issues that occur

  • Online merchandising and working closely with the design team coordinating development of engaging online

  • Implement changes to the website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO and UX

  • Manage the product enrichment process of products across online sales channels

  • Conduct weekly and monthly site-wide trade reports

  • Use Google Analytics and performance data to continuously optimise the site, including merchandising, managing landing pages, and improving the customer journey.

  • Liaise with external digital marketing agency to implement strategies supporting business objectives and driving commercial outcomes

 
 The Skillset |

  • Minimum 3 years ecommerce experience

  • Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills

  • Tech savvy with excellent computer skills

  • 2 years’ experience within an eCommerce & Bricks & mortar retailer is highly regarded

  • A passion for all things digital and always keeping up to date with new digital trends across eCommerce and other Digital Marketing channels

  • Proven experience with Apparel 21, Shopify Plus and Google Analytics

  • Experience in eCommerce copywriting a significant plus (e.g. digital marketing copywriting, blog articles and product descriptions)

    Experience leveraging data to develop a digital strategy – hands on.

  • Comfortable working alongside external agencies
