The Brand |
In a new partnership we are working with a stunning design-led cashmere brand based in New Zealand. With their luxurious product offering they have a range of stores across New Zealand along with their eCommerce channel – they have a dedication to an exceptional customer experience – ensuring their clients enjoy timeless elegant styles. They are now seeking an eCommerce Manager to join their Auckland based team.
The Role |
This is a hands-on, high-impact role with room to grow and make your mark in a fast-moving, creative environment. You’ll report directly to the GM and work closely with the Directors but work independently day-to-day, liaising with agencies and internal teams to grow brand presence and ecommerce performance.
You will drive the strategic growth and performance of the brands online business across multiple markets. This role owns the end-to-end ecommerce operation for two Shopify stores (US and NZ/AU), the B2B wholesale platform, and the digital customer experience.
You will be accountable for ecommerce revenue targets, conversion optimisation, and ensuring the brand is consistently represented across all digital touchpoints. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strategic thinking combined with daily execution. You will manage an Ecommerce Assistant, oversee digital marketing agency relationships and drive the brand growth across NZ, AU and the US.
Own ecommerce revenue targets and P&L accountability across US and NZ/AU markets.
Develop and execute market-specific strategies that account for regional consumer behaviour, pricing, and competitive dynamics.
Proactively monitor site performance daily, identifying and implementing changes to optimise conversion and revenue.
Lead strategic merchandising decisions including homepage curation, collection organisation, product positioning, and promotional planning.
Implement structured A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to continuously improve site performance.
Analyse performance using Shopify analytics, Google Analytics, and Klaviyo data to inform strategic decisions.
Manage two distinct Shopify stores (US and NZ/AU) with tailored strategies for each market.
Oversee the B2B wholesale platform within Shopify, ensuring seamless operations for wholesale partners.
Own the relationship for all external digital agencies.
Monitor Meta, Google, and performance campaign results, making strategic recommendations for optimisation.
Ensure all paid content is brand-aligned and supports broader campaign objectives.
Own the Klaviyo platform, including automated flows, segmentation strategy, and campaign execution.
Team leadership and development.
The Skillset |
4-5+ years in an ecommerce or digital role, ideally in fashion, luxury, or lifestyle brands.
Skilled in Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and Figma.
Minimum 2 years in a senior or lead ecommerce role with P&L or revenue accountability.
Proven track record of driving online revenue growth and conversion rate improvement.
Strong expertise in Shopify, including apps, integrations, and B2B/wholesale functionality.
Experience with Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and Meta Ads Manager.
Experience managing external agencies with accountability for performance and ROI.
Strong understanding of CRO, A/B testing methodologies, and ecommerce best practices.
Experience with inventory management systems; Cin7 experience advantageous.
Familiarity with AI tools (such as Claude) and design platforms (Figma) advantageous.
Multi-market or international ecommerce experience highly regarded.
Excellent written and visual communication skills.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing direct reports.
