The Role | 
 
As part of the business’s ongoing expansion and commitment to agile commercial growth, this new Commercial Merchandise Planning Manager role is designed for an accomplished professional with deep expertise in the fashion industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an outstanding ability to interpret trends, drive commercially agile strategies, and apply a keen focus on margin optimisation and tactical revenue management.
 
In this pivotal position, you will leverage your strong background in fashion and commercial operations to operationalise analytic insights, strengthen supplier relationships, and accelerate growth opportunities. Your proactive approach to commercial agility, combined with a tactical understanding of revenue and margin
drivers, will ensure that product ranges and collections are managed with a results oriented, profit-focused mindset.
 
You will be responsible for translating insights into dynamic product strategies, identifying and seizing commercial opportunities, and making data-driven decisions that maximise sales, margin, and overall business impact. Working closely with the Founder and Creative Merchandise Manager, you will equip the team with the expertise, speed, coordination and confidence required to achieve ambitious brand and financial objectives in a dynamic, non-traditional retail environment.
 
The Skillset | 

  • Minimum 5 years in product management, merchandise planning, or commercial operations.

  • Proven experience operationalising analytic and market insights into actionable product strategies.

  • Strong analytical skills: forecasting, spend/budget allocation, performance analysis.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and order cycles.

  • Collaborative mindset—works fluently across functions, categories, and with creative/operational stakeholders.

  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and an agile, responsive approach to planning.

  • Energised by fast pace, ambiguous, and "non-traditional" business cultures.

  • Clear, concise communicator, capable of aligning teams and actions against commercial objectives.

  • Advanced Excel/BI reporting skills beneficial.
