We are seeking an experienced Boutique Manager to lead their Sydney CBD location, someone who is passionate about fine jewellery, consultative selling, and building a high-performing team within a luxury setting.
 
The Role |

As Boutique Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the boutique while setting the standard for elevated service, clientelling, and brand presentation. You will lead from the front, creating a calm, considered environment where clients feel guided, celebrated, and confident throughout their purchasing journey.

You will recruit, coach, and develop a small team of Client Advisors, ensuring they are knowledgeable, motivated, and consistently delivering exceptional service. Most importantly, this role is highly focused on clientelling, building a strong client base, nurturing an established portfolio, and creating a culture of proactive relationship management that drives repeat business, referrals, and long-term loyalty. There is also potential for overseas travel opportunities to connect with high-value clients and support relationship development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the boutique, ensuring an exceptional and consistent client experience.

  • Own and drive the boutique's clienteling strategy, including building new client pipelines and nurturing existing VIP relationships.

  • Actively develop and maintain a high-value client portfolio through personalised outreach, appointments, and follow-up.

  • Use CRM tools to plan, track, and optimise client engagement, ensuring consistent activity and meaningful touchpoints.

  • Create and manage private appointment experiences for milestone purchases, VIP clients, and repeat clientele.

  • Recruit, coach, and develop a small team of Client Advisors to deliver service excellence and achieve boutique targets.

  • Lead by example on the floor, driving sales performance through consultative selling and strong product storytelling.

  • Identify opportunities for referrals, repeat purchases, and long-term relationship building across the client base.

  • Ensure boutique presentation and visual standards are impeccable and aligned to brand expectations.

  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to report on performance, client development, and boutique opportunities.

  • Participate in (and potentially travel for) VIP client engagement initiatives, including overseas relationship visits where required.

The Skillset |

The ideal candidate is a polished luxury retail leader with strong commercial acumen and a genuine passion for fine jewellery. You are currently a Boutique Manager, Store Manager, or Senior Assistant Manager within fine jewellery, luxury retail, or premium client-focused environments. In addition, you will bring:

  • Proven experience in consultative selling and delivering elevated client experiences.

  • Strong capability in clienteling, CRM, and building repeat and referral business.

  • A hands-on, lead-by-example leadership style with a coaching mindset.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve boutique targets and performance KPIs.

  • High emotional intelligence and confidence managing high-value, milestone purchases.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • A refined eye for boutique presentation and visual standards.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to operate autonomously.
