The Role I
The Assistant Brand Manager supports the delivery of brand, social, content, PR and retail execution, ensuring the brand shows up clearly and consistently across owned channels and retail partners. Working closely with the Brand Manager, this role plays a key part in the day-to-day execution of campaigns, content and activations, particularly within high-volume retail environments. It’s a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, detail-driven environments and enjoys bringing brand ideas to life across multiple touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the creation, scheduling and publishing of organic and paid social content.
Assist with content coordination including briefs, asset management, approvals and uploads.
Help develop engaging, on-brand social content across multiple formats (video, carousels, infographics).
Support influencer and UGC activity including identification, outreach, briefing and asset tracking.
Maintain content calendars and shared asset libraries.
Assist with partnerships, giveaways, gifting and event logistics.
Support trade marketing and retail execution, including creative assets, collateral and activations.
Maintain retail partner documentation, specifications and key account requirements.
Support PR activity including seeding, coverage tracking, reporting and brand updates.
Assist with reporting, budget tracking, invoicing and general brand administration.
The Skillset I
1–3 years’ experience in brand, marketing, content or social roles.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and content formats.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Confident coordinating multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong written communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Comfortable working across digital, retail and campaign environments.
Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn within a growing brand team.
