Slyletica is a full-service fashion agency that specializes in building activewear and athleisure brands through custom manufacturing, original garment design, marketing, and brand development. Due to growth we are searching for a superstar negotiator and highly influential Production & Shipping Coordinator.

Reporting to the Head of Product– we are looking for someone with a strong background in Production & Shipping within an apparel business. Your role will be to manage the production processes for a small number of clients and provide real support to the wider product team and take the lead with managing all shipping for the wider business.
What We’re Looking For:
You will support and assist the internal and external partners in the development, manufacture, purchasing, maintenance, and delivery of finished garments in line with a critical path. Your duties will include:
Ensure all production, manufacturing and deliveries keep to schedule
Supporting clients with all aspects of local and offshore production
Manage the shipping process
On time and cost-effective delivery of goods
Coordination of order raising
Best rate negotiation with supplier to achieve budgets on %
Monitor and enforce critical path deadlines for production, shipment and delivery dates
Proactively handle and resolve quality issues
Ensure all development requirements meet critical path timelines
Track fit and pre-production samples to ensure factories are submitting on time
Manage order amendments and communicate all changes to the team and suppliers
What We’re Looking For:
We have outlined some experience that is essential to this role – however the real crux of this role is that we are seeking an epic communicator and problem solver, you will know how to tailor your communication across verbal and written to ensure internal stakeholders and external supports such as factories understand exactly what is needed from them to deliver product on time and you take a hands on, glass half full approach to solving problems with innovative solutions.
We are looking for someone who can thrives in an innovative, entrepreneurial environment and a self- starter. Strong systems and software experience is an absolute MUST.
Previous experience in a similar production role - apparel essential, wholesale desirable 5+ years
Proven critical path management experience
Ability to negotiate and maintain relationships with external stakeholders with a proactive nature
A comprehensive understanding of the production life cycle and consequently impeccable planning skills
Strong offshore production experience
Strong initiative, drive and enthusiasm
Experience working in a high-pressure environment with daily timelines
Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills
Superb organization and attention to detail
Ability to multi task and self-manage time effectively
An effective problem solver and negotiator
A ‘Can Do’ attitude with a positive outlook
