People, Culture and Office Coordinator - Melbourne Fashion Agency

Slyletica is a full-service fashion agency that specializes in building activewear and athleisure brands through custom manufacturing, original garment design, eCommerce, and brand development.

We have a newly created role for a People, Culture and Office Coordinator - reporting to and working closely with the CEO, this role will be the go-to person for all office, team and people related questions and needs. You’ll be the eyes and ears of the leadership team in making sure our people are well supported and happy at work. Office and admin responsibilities paired with being the ambassador and guardian of our culture.

What you might be doing day to day:

  • Manage our staff lifecycle from onboarding, team initiatives (activities, wellness days, lunches and parties) through to off-boarding

  • Admin assistance to the leadership team which could include managing our HR processes, arrange travel requirements and ad hoc support

  • Assisting with client’s administration support

  • Be the first person to speak and greet clients, suppliers and visitors to the office

  • Proactively identify team needs and create initiatives to make Slyletica a better place to work and do business with

  • Make sure our team is engaged, connected, loved and happy

  • Ensure all team policies & procedures are up to date and team know where to go for an answer at all times

  • Administration & Communication - Day to day communication in relation to office updates, events, birthdays, monthly update newsletters etc.

  • Establishing and improving processes

  • Providing administrative and project support on people and culture

  • Providing ad-hoc support to our Executive Team

Who you are:

Excited to conquer any task, you are execution oriented, with good instincts for anticipating needs and changes. You are renowned for your detail and organization; and strong ability to prioritize.

You have excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable communicating proactively and directly. You are reliable, understanding that your punctuality and presence supports a positive experience for the team and their visitors. You can maintain total discretion on all matters, confidential or otherwise, business, or personal. You work collaboratively with people at all levels and across functions and cultures. You have good judgement and are able to meet challenges with a sense of calm and confidence

Skills and Experience required:

  • Experience in office management positions, ideally in agency environments

  • A HR degree is not essential but some experience with people processes and initiatives would be great

  • Positive attitude and willing to help out everyone at all times

  • Calm under pressure and solution orientated

  • 2+ years of experience in an office or administrative support role

  • Experience in another start-up is desirable but not essential

  • Comfortable with all forms of start-up communication e.g Teams, Asana, Zoom and able to adapt to new technologies easily
