Get To Know Team TM: Natasha
Welcome our newest team member Natasha - she joins as a Head Office Recruitment Partner bringing experience in both an in-house and agency capacity within the Fashion Industry. We asked Tash a few questions to get to know her a little better!
Q. Tell us about your career background.
I started my journey studying a Diploma in Fashion Design, Bachelor of Psychology, followed by a Master’s in Human Resources—which naturally led me to a career in recruitment.
My first role was with a global recruitment agency, where I worked on a fast-paced temp desk in the industrial space. It was high-volume, high-pressure, and taught me so much—particularly about resilience, urgency, and the fundamentals of recruitment.
At the same time, my passion for fashion was always present. It’s something that comes instinctively to me, and I’ve always had a strong eye for style.
I then moved into a fashion recruitment agency, where I managed the design and buying desk. I absolutely loved being in a space that aligned so closely with my personal interests and strengths, and I built some incredible connections with clients and candidates alike.
Later, I took the leap into internal recruitment at a change management consultancy, where I was focused on hiring Change Managers. This role deepened my appreciation for the power of relationship-building, which I believe is at the heart of truly effective recruitment.
Eventually, I transitioned into an internal recruitment role at a leading Australian fashion retailer. I lived and breathed the brand, and it was here that I got to truly understand recruitment from the client's perspective—including the challenges and pain points they face.
Altogether, I bring 7 years of end-to-end recruitment experience, spanning both agency and in-house environments, across fashion, consulting, and corporate sectors.
Q. What is your most valued career achievement?
One of my proudest moments was successfully placing an entire buying team for a major fashion brand, transitioning them seamlessly from a competitor. It was a high-impact move and a great example of building trust and delivering at scale.
Also winning and award at Randstad for the highest billing temp desk within the industrial team
Q. What’s your go-to work playlist?
Fleetwood Mac—and that’s it!
I’m a huge Stevie Nicks fan. My favourite song? “Dreams”—it sets the perfect tone for the day.
Q. What makes you great at your job?
I’d say it comes down to organisation and being genuinely personable.
Clients and candidates trust me because I take the time to really connect. I don’t just want to know someone professionally—I want to understand what’s going on in their world and be someone they feel supported by.
At the same time, I’m incredibly structured and detail-focused. I take a thorough, methodical approach to every part of the recruitment process, from follow-ups to feedback, and that’s what allows me to deliver consistent results.
Q. What’s your idea of success?
For me, success is about being 1% better every day—even in the smallest ways. I want to be able to end each day knowing I did something that made me proud.
I’m a big believer in constant learning and always keeping my finger on the pulse—whether through reading, listening, or staying close to what’s happening in the market.
Q. Tell us 3 things that are most important to you.
Being warm and kind—always.
Staying open to learning and personal growth.
Prioritising my mental and physical wellbeing.
Q. What brands are you loving right now?
Louis Vuitton (LV)
CUE
Bayse Brand
Q. Describe your perfect day.
Waking up with coffee in bed ☕
Reading emails and easing into the morning
Gym, sauna, and an ice bath
Some journaling and reflection
Then heading out for a shopping day
Ending the day with a cosy movie night
Q. If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be?
Kim Kardashian! (Haha, no shame!)
I find her incredibly inspiring—her reinvention, business acumen, and ability to stay relevant are unmatched. She is my forever style inspiration.
Q. Tell us something we’d never guess about you.
One day I’d had enough of Melbourne’s weather, so I packed my bags and moved to Bali for 4 months, working remotely the entire time. It was spontaneous and completely refreshing.
Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring 2026
Q. Give us a life hack!
On the days when the gym feels like a chore, I set a 45-minute timer the moment I walk in. The goal? Just get through the 45 minutes—and somehow, that structure always keeps me going!
