Social Media & Content Manager
Globally Recognised Contemporary Womenswear Brand
Now Hiring in Melbourne
The Brand |
Our client is a globally recognised Australian contemporary fashion brand, founded in Melbourne and known for distinctive, feminine and highly wearable collections.
With an established international wholesale presence and a growing direct-to-consumer business, the brand is entering an exciting new phase focused on strengthening its global digital presence and building the next generation of its online community.
We are looking for a highly creative, digitally native and organised Social Media & Content Manager with exceptional visual instincts, a genuine love of fashion and culture and the ability to create beautiful, relevant content at pace.
The Role |
This is not a role for somebody who simply schedules posts.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the brand’s organic social channels and content calendar. Perfect for someone who can identify opportunity, create the content, edit it, publish it and understand how it performs.
Working closely with the Brand Director, eCommerce Manager, Creative team and CEO, you will translate the brand world into compelling daily content that builds awareness, engagement, community and ultimately customer demand.
Own the day-to-day management of organic Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook and emerging social channels
Build weekly and monthly content calendars around launches, product drops, campaigns and key brand moments
Create high-quality social-first content including Reels, TikToks, styling content, BTS, product video and founder/team content
Shoot and edit compelling content across professional and mobile-first formats
Develop repeatable content franchises and new ways of making collections feel desirable, relevant and wearable
Bring the brand's visual identity and tone of voice to life across every social touchpoint
Write confident, contemporary and effortless social and digital copy
Manage comments, DMs, tags, mentions and broader community engagement
Identify organic brand advocates and source high-quality user-generated content
Support influencer and creator activity including gifting, outreach, tracking and content usage
Assist with content shoots across mood boards, shot lists, styling, locations, talent and asset management
Create content aligned with eCommerce priorities including new arrivals, best sellers, high-stock products and key categories
Maintain an organised content and asset library and proactively identify gaps
Stay immersed in fashion, culture, travel, art, music, hospitality and emerging digital behaviours
Monitor audience growth, reach, engagement, saves, shares, video views and website traffic
Use performance insights to continually evolve the content strategy rather than simply reporting numbers
The Skillset |
Ideally 2–4+ years’ experience across social media, content or digital marketing
Fashion, beauty, lifestyle, luxury or premium consumer brand experience highly regarded
Deep understanding of Instagram and TikTok
Strong short-form video shooting and editing capability
Confident copywriter with a strong instinct for brand tone of voice
Experience using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Canva, CapCut and Adobe Creative Suite
Photography or videography capability highly regarded
Experience working with influencers and creators valuable
Exceptional visual taste with an instinctive understanding of what feels current and elevated
Digitally and culturally obsessed, with a constant eye on emerging formats and behaviours
Able to create high-quality content quickly without relying on major campaign shoots
Highly organised, proactive and resourceful
Comfortable taking feedback, evolving ideas and moving quickly
Commercially aware with an understanding of how social can support product and eCommerce performance
Independent and ownership-led while highly collaborative
The Offer |
A rare opportunity for a genuine content creator to play a meaningful role in defining how a global audience experiences an established Australian fashion brand.
You will have the scope to identify ideas and turn them into content, experiment with emerging formats and directly influence the next generation of the brand’s digital community.
This is a full-time Melbourne-based role.
