The Role |
This is a rare opportunity for a commercially astute Senior Merchandise Planner to partner with the commercial director, and offering genuine scope to shape, influence, and build from the ground up.
This role suits someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys rebuilding and refining, and can operate with both strategic oversight and hands-on execution.
You'll partner closely with leadership to align trading strategy across AU and international markets as well as have the opportunity to introduce new tools, reporting structures, and systems beyond current platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end merchandise planning function, from forecasting through to in-season trading and post-season analysis.
Conduct deep-dive analysis across sales, stock, and performance to drive data-led decisions.
Build and refine WSSI frameworks and planning tools.
Establish and implement scalable planning processes, reporting cadence, and KPIs.
Collaborate cross-functionally with buying, ecommerce, and leadership teams.
Support buying decisions with commercial insight, including OTB management and range planning inputs.
Identify risks and opportunities quickly, responding with agility in a fast-paced environment.
The Skillset |
Proven experience as a Senior Merchandise Planner (or strong Planner ready to step up) within fashion or ecommerce.
Highly analytical with the ability to deep dive into data and translate insights into action.
Comfortable working autonomously - you can build, lead, and execute without heavy structure in place.
Experience setting up or refining planning processes, systems, or frameworks.
Strong commercial acumen with exposure to international markets.
Agile, solutions-focused, and able to work at pace in a growing business.
Experience across both planning and buying collaboration/inputs is highly advantageous.
