The Role |

  • Ensure  your work is on time and in line with the go-to-market calendar to meet financial goals

  • Collaborate with Creative Direction to understand the product vision and community needs.

  • Develop the team's capability to deliver to strategy as it applies to your assigned product category.

  • Collaborate with merchandise teams to build your categories ranges through creative concepts and design.

  • Apply insights from thorough athlete testing and to improve and optimize product performance and durability, and proactively identify any performance issues.

  • Translate conceptual ideas into detailed sketches and digital renderings, and then effectively communicate design concepts, proportions, and details.

  • Develop comprehensive technical drawings and specifications that guide the product development process, including construction details, materials, and dimensions.

  • Participate in the review and refinement of prototypes and samples, providing feedback on design aesthetics, fit, comfort, and functionality.

  • Attend trade shows, fashion events, and trend forecasting sessions to gather inspiration and insights.

  • Research and evaluate materials, trims, and embellishments to ensure optimal performance, quality, and aesthetic appeal, while also considering cost and sustainability factors.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings, leveraging insights to inform design decisions and maintain competitive edge.

  • Collaborate with the graphics team to develop colour palettes, prints, and graphics that enhance the visual impact.

  • Work closely with product development, sourcing, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment throughout the product life cycle, from concept development to production and launch.

  • Product Lifecycle Management Software
