The Role |

Part of a newly established team in Australia – they are committed to exceptional customer care, product longevity and sustainability. The role of the Senior Artisan will execute complex leather repairs, as well as mentoring junior Artisan’s within the team. With a commitment to precision and quality you will drive brand standards ensuring repairs are conducted within a defined timeframe.

  • Execute advanced and complex repair work across a range of product categories, ensuring adherence to the brands quality standards.

  • Guide, mentor, and support more junior artisans in their technical and professional development.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve repair challenges, identifying innovative solutions while maintaining quality and efficiency.

  • Participate in testing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives to refine repair techniques and processes.

  • Share technical expertise and best practices across global Care Services teams.

  • Contribute to workshop organisation, efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Collaborate closely with the Logistics and Warehouse Manager to support training, workflow, and atelier excellence.

  • Embody the brands values of craftsmanship, precision, and teamwork in all aspects of the role.

  • Participate in global Care Services technical exchanges and meetings.

  • Lead internal trainings and technical workshops to elevate craftsmanship standards.

  • Contribute to cross-functional innovation projects across quality and process development.

  • Engage with the local community and the retail network across Australia.

The Skillset |

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in leather goods repair or onsite production, ideally within the luxury sector.

  • Advanced technical expertise across multiple product categories but ideally leathergoods and shoes

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire others in a workshop environment.

  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, quality, and artistry.

  • Collaborative and adaptable, with a strong team spirit and a client-centric mindset.

  • IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite an advantage.

Please note this is a full-time role based in Botany working Monday – Friday. Candidates must be comfortable commuting to this location.
