The Brand |
An established retail organisation supporting a large network of independent specialty retailers across Australia and New Zealand.
Working closely with business owners across its network, the organisation provides commercial, marketing, digital and industry support designed to help independent retailers strengthen their businesses and compete in an evolving retail landscape.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior retail marketer to join an established organisation and help shape the next evolution of its marketing offering.
The Role |
Lead the overall marketing direction and marketing support provided across a large retail network
Develop integrated retail campaigns across digital and physical channels
Drive initiatives across CRM, eCommerce, social media, paid media, local area marketing, in-store activity and events
Identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, retention, traffic and sales
Develop new marketing programs, resources and services for independent retailers
Work closely with business owners to understand their needs and provide practical marketing guidance
Manage external agencies and specialist partners across digital, creative, content and technology
Lead the organisation’s B2B marketing and member communications
Lead and develop a small internal marketing team
Bring a strong commercial lens to new initiatives, partnerships and growth opportunities
The Skillset |
7+ years’ marketing experience within fashion, jewellery, luxury, lifestyle, specialty retail or another consumer-facing industry
Strong experience within a multi-site, multi-brand, franchise or retail network environment
Proven experience developing integrated retail marketing campaigns
Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM, eCommerce, social media and paid media
Commercial mindset with a clear understanding of how marketing impacts traffic, engagement and sales
Experience managing agencies, suppliers and external partners
Previous team leadership experience
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Confidence working directly with business owners and senior stakeholders
Ability to turn strategy into practical programs that can be rolled out across multiple locations
Jewellery experience would be highly regarded but is not essential.
