The Brand |
Our client is an established fine jewellery house known for its modern luxury aesthetic, refined craftsmanship and elevated client experience. With a strong presence in Sydney’s luxury market, the brand is entering an exciting phase of growth and is looking to further expand its reach across private client networks, strategic partnerships, curated events and select luxury channels.
The Role |
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Sales & Business Development Specialist will play a key role in driving brand growth, commercial partnerships and high-value sales opportunities. This is a relationship-led, commercially focused role suited to someone who understands luxury clienteling, brand positioning and how to convert brand exposure into meaningful revenue outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships, client acquisition and high-value sales opportunities.
Identify and convert new business opportunities across private clients, events, partnerships, wholesale and consignment channels.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects from introduction through to conversion.
Partner with the General Manager on client acquisition, repeat purchase and client lifetime value initiatives.
Contribute to sales strategy across key collections and product categories.
Support the development of 3, 6 and 12-month marketing plans.
Assist with brand content, social media storytelling and digital presence in line with luxury positioning.
Identify and develop cross-brand collaborations, luxury partnerships and curated activations.
Build relationships with stylists, influencers, personal shoppers, hospitality groups, private clubs and luxury concierge networks.
Support the planning and execution of exclusive trunk shows, private client events and brand activations.
Drive event sales through targeted client invitations, pre-event outreach and post-event follow-up.
Track event performance including attendance, leads, conversion and revenue.
Nurture high-value clients, collectors and referral networks to support repeat purchase behaviour.
Support wholesale and consignment partners with product knowledge, merchandising guidance and performance analysis.
Represent the brand at events, activations and partnership meetings.
Support boutique operations when required, including occasional weekend shifts.
The Skillset |
Proven experience in sales, business development, partnerships, clienteling or luxury retail.
Strong understanding of luxury brand positioning and high-net-worth client engagement.
Existing networks across luxury, fashion, jewellery, lifestyle, hospitality, stylists, influencers or private client communities.
Commercially driven with the ability to identify, nurture and convert revenue opportunities.
Confident relationship builder with strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience managing sales pipelines, client outreach and event-led conversion.
Ability to balance brand elevation with measurable commercial outcomes.
Strong understanding of client experience, repeat purchase behaviour and VIP relationship management.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple partnerships, events and sales opportunities at once.
Comfortable working closely with senior leadership in a hands-on, growing business environment.
