The Role |

Production Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the end-to-end production process across bridal and ready-to-wear, including factory product development. This role ensures that the brand delivers exceptional product quality, on time and within margin, while maintaining the brand’s elevated standards and craftsmanship. The Production Manager acts as the bridge between design, development, and manufacturing, driving efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement across both internal and external production operations.

  • Oversee factory-led product development, ensuring design intent is maintained through sampling and bulk transition.

  • Work with factories to interpret tech packs, refine construction methods, and improve manufacturability.

  • Approve and monitor factory pre-production samples.

  • Manage communication between development and factory teams to resolve technical challenges quickly.

  • Source, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships across local and offshore partners.

  • Negotiate production pricing, MOQs and timelines to optimise cost and efficiency, working with Head of Production.

  • Following set processes to effectively manage fabric levels in factory.

  • Lead fit reviews and ensure PPS and TOP samples align with approved standard working with Head of Technology and Quality.

  • Implement quality control factory checkpoints and manage defect tracking and resolution.

  • Lead and mentor Production Coordinators and support roles.

  • Maintain real-time visibility of production status and capacity reporting.

The Skillset |

  • 5+ years’ experience in fashion or bridal production, including factory product development.

  • Strong technical garment construction knowledge, especially couture and high-end categories.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple production streams and supplier bases concurrently.

  • Demonstrated experience developing product at factory level — working through tech packs, fit issues, and efficiency refinements.

  • Skilled in production costing, scheduling, and margin management.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and follow-through.

  • ERP, PLM, or production system experience preferred.
