We are sourcing an experienced Production Manager to lead one of their key volume accounts so experience with volume production is essential in this role!
The Role |
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production process across the apparel category. The role involves coordinating with offshore factories and the China office to manage costings, samples, production timelines and shipment documentation, ensuring all orders progress smoothly through each stage.
Working closely with the sales team, retailers and internal departments, the Production Manager monitors production schedules, manages packaging and ticketing requirements, and ensures customer delivery deadlines are met. This role requires strong organisation, communication and time management skills, with the ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
Liaise with factories and our China office to complete costings for new styles.
Follow up on production of all styles, through all stages
Follow up and confirm ticketing and packaging information
Liaise with China office and retailers for samples, eg strike, PP, production etc. in conjunction with the Production Assistant.
Manage and report on the production schedule status at any given time
Monitor customer orders with Sales Admin Assistant to ensure production is in line with any changes.
Liaise with China office for shipment documents when goods are shipped or allocated.
Liaise with customer, sales department and warehouse to ensure delivery date met.
Review and submit for approval to retailers and licensors all lab dips and strike offs in conjunction with Production Assistant
The Skillset |
Must have experience in similar role. Experience in apparel industry, working with offshore vendors highly regarded.
Licensing experience highly regarded.
Must be very organized, self-motivated and pro-active.
Strong computer skills.
Time management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
